AT-HOME WORKOUT: Balance Your Way to a Better Body

Try Fusion Cross-training's stability and endurance workout to tighten and tone fast

When I train clients I don’t just think about them as lawyers, or teachers, or business people, I look at them as athletes. What are their strengths and weaknesses? How then do you create a program to work on the weaknesses without making them feel unmotivated? The answer is to integrate multiple elements; some they are really good at, while others need work.

A big area for many clients who are out of shape, and maybe were not particularly athletic kids, is stability, i.e. the ability to balance or control your body through full ranges of motion with resistance. Another issue for deconditioned people is getting their cardio and strength endurance up enough to get through a challenging workout. That is what Phase 1 of my program is geared towards, building the foundation of fitness to be able to progress into higher forms of athleticism. I always tell people that everyone has an inner athlete. My coaches’ job is to help them find that mentality and develop their abilities.

Watch this new fitness workout video for challenging balance movements done in high repetition. Our fitness program follows a split routine and this workout is designed to fatigue:
Shoulders, back, triceps, and abs.

This workout gives you an idea of the type of strength training that is involved in the Stability & Endurance phase of Fusion Cross-training’s 3 Phase Training Cycle.
