LIVESTRONG Challenge Philly
This event has now passed. Check out other events in our calendar.
The LIVESTRONG Challenge is the Lance Armstrong Foundation’s signature fundraising event that takes place in cities across the country. On August 23rd, lace up your sneakers for a 5K walk/run, or strap on your helmet for a 10-, 20-, 45-, 70-, or 100-mile bike ride that begins at Montgomery County Community College. The Stationary Zone, comprised of 10 spin bikes, is also available to cancer survivors, those who are currently undergoing treatment, or those unable to handle the physical demands of the open road but would like to participate in the challenge. Whether you’re looking for a great workout for a good cause, would like to honor a friend battling cancer, or would like to stride in memory of a loved one, this event will have you working up a sweat with a smile on your face.
