New shows on sale at World Cafe Live ...

Expect the where-has-she-been? Melissa Manchester (yes, angry commenters, I
do actually know where she’s been, but I just don’t care very much about
HATS! The Musical) to belt out “Don’t Cry Out Loud” on November 2nd. Why is
it that everyone of a certain age looks so much better now than they did in
the 80s? $45-$55.

Martha Wainwright
(Rufus’ sister) plays songs from her 2nd full length album
(not yet available in the U.S.), I Know You’re Married But I’ve Got Feelings
Too
, on September 11th. $21-$31.

And finally, roots rock troubadour Alejandro Escovedo pays a visit on
November 12th in support of the just-released Real Animal, which Rolling
Stone
called “one powerful sermon”. $30.
