Sneak Peek at Steve Lopez (as Interpreted by Robert Downey Jr.) in The Soloist

Seems like forever ago that we first started hearing about The Soloist, the Robert Downey Jr./Jamie Foxx movie based on former Inquirer columnist Steve Lopez's (pictured left, surely much wealthier than when he left Philly for L.A.) friendship with Nathaniel Ayers, a homeless musical genius with schizophrenia. Paramount just released the trailer, which you can view here. The movie is scheduled for release right around Thanksgiving, meaning it will probably make you laugh, cry, and feel a little bit less hopeless about the world.
