It’s definitely a tavern — the 25 craft brews in rotation on tap, industrial-inspired decor and freestanding bar as focal point of the room all make that perfectly clear — but there’s worthwhile food, too. Don’t miss the fall-apart-tender “beer can” chicken sandwich, paired with long hots and a surprisingly spicy red cabbage slaw, or the flavorful smoked trout salad topped off with fingerling potato chips, served by the sweet and knowledgeable (and pierced and tattooed) staff.
