Kinnaree,  Horsham

The suburban sprawl of northeast Montco is notoriously devoid of restaurants beyond the Cheesecake Factory variety, so when this strip-mall Thai BYO opened in April, spice-starved residents took note. Much as at Philly’s Thai spots, the offerings aren’t life-altering (what is the problem with Thai food around here, anyway?), but if your mouth is watering for a respectable pad Thai or green curry with some fresh summer rolls, this place will do the trick. A welcome addition to the neighborhood. Insider tip: Save the cabernet for another night. Go white, or, better yet, bring a six-pack of a crisp lager or IPA. 583 Horsham Road, Horsham, 215-441-5514.
