Havili is a lot better than I imagined him to be during training camp. In fact I thought there was a good chance he wouldn’t even make the team. In the preseason, it was obvious that he was going to win the job by default if for no other reason than the Eagles were weak in blocking and he looked like the best of a bad bunch in that department.

But you know, he’s really been excellent during the season, and especially against the Giants, against whom he played almost half the snaps. He gets better and better, and makes it possible to do things like operate out of the “I” effectively.
