Come by this Wednesday evening and check out designs in the John Wind AIDS Jewelry Project — 50 percent of the profits from sales of the special edition charm bracelet and keychain will go towards ActionAIDS and the Mazzoni Center.

Lafayette Hill: March Madness
Clothing boutique First Impressions, kids’ store Down 2 Earth Kids, and Heaven & Earth Salon and Spa and Putting on the Ritz are all banding together to host a March Madness event: This weekend, look for sales and discounts, salon demonstrations, and camp trunk show this Saturday and Sunday at Down 2 Earth Kids, featuring the latest in tees, sweats, bunk gifts and color war essentials, with a graffitti artist on hand to create airbrushed originals. A portion of the profits from the trunk show will benefit Golden Slipper Camp, a non-profit camp in the Poconos that offers scholarships to children and young adults.

Bloomingdales: Prom Event
This Saturday, the King of Prussia Bloomingdale’s is offering 20 percent savings on all prom dresses that day — and they’re also running a dress drive. They’re asking students to bring in and donate their gently worn dresses, and the school with the local most donated dresses will win $500 to be used towards their prom.

Nordstrom: Denim Launch Party
This Saturday on the second floor (in Individualist) of the King of Prussia Nordstrom, they’re hosting a party to celebrate the launch of Cookie Johnson (wife of Magic) new denim line, designed for women with “real bodies.” Cookie will be there, and guests can enjoy hors d’oeuvres and DJ-spun music while getting a sneak preview of the line. While the wedding invitation portion of this business will remain open under a different name, this actual retail boutique is closing next month. In honor of that, they’re offering the following discounts: Through March 28, 25 percent off all custom orders and 40 percent off all inventory; through April 3, 25 percent off all custom orders and 50 percent off all inventory; through April 11th, 25 percent off all custom orders and 60 percent off all inventory; through April 17th, there will be no custom ordering, but 75 percent off all inventory.
