Remember back in the day, when eco-fairs consisted of a few scraggly plants, a bunch of college kids with petitions, dresses made from plastic bags, and an unknown newbie called Philly Car Share? Those days are over. Next weekend, reuse-minded design-builders Greensaw and hardware-design store Greenable will co-host a springtime celebration, called, succinctly enough, “A Spring Party”—basically an eco-chic extravaganza for Northern Liberties’ populous green population—including a fashion show by beloved boutiques Millesime and Arcadia, with hair and make-up by Old City’s Loco salon, along with live tunes, lovely local art,—and nary a Saran pantsuit in sight. Saturday, May 1, 7pm; 820 North 4th Street, 215-389-0786, greensawdesign.com; greenable.net.
