THE GREEN SCENE: Greenable’s Color Sale

Home editor Lauren McCutcheon is going to cover her house in eco-chic color.

Is spring here yet? Personally, I’m beyond caring. To me, it is. And that means I can finally tackle all those household jobs that seemed impossible through the long and snowy winter: New casement windows? Ordered. New cabinets picked out? Absolutely. New paint color selected? For sure — or, at least, kind of. I’ve spent months — months! — of downtime facing down living room walls splotched with sample color upon sample color. Jake and Vienna don’t look so bad against a backdrop of Benjamin Moore’s “Cloud Nine” mixed with “Frostine.” But, then again, enough already.

Luckily, the Yolo Colorhouse sale has just begun at Greenable, Philadelphia’s one-stop shop for eco-friendly building and design supplies — and lasts just three more weeks. So, I’m gonna decide. And I’m gonna buy. Eco-chic all the way. And hello spring.
