What to Drink: Fra Guerau Montsant Tinto 2004

By Marnie Old

If you’ve never heard of Montsant, take note — this region near Barcelona is one of Spain’s best sources of value for the dollar. The “baby brother” of priorat, Catalonia’s inky superstar red wine, the new montsant appellation indicates a lighter, more modest blended wine from the surrounding area.
