Erin & Scott Ellis

“As soon as he walked into the room, I knew I wanted to marry him,” says Yardley-native Erin Ellis, recalling when mutual friends first introduced her to her now-husband, Scott. He was on an extended vacation in the country from his native England, and after just under a year of flying back and forth every two weeks, Scott proposed in his home in Henley on Thames. After settling on a February wedding in the city (for the convenience of their 100 traveling, British guests), the couple chose the Bellevue for its old-world class, and set about planning a romantic celebration with a soft, vintage feel — and, of course, lots of personal touches celebrating their respective cultures.
