Ah, lawn chairs, grass-stained jeans, and the pungent smell of marijuana wafting through the air. Enjoy this month’s alfresco performances: the second annual Roots Picnic (Penn’s Landing, 6/6); Talking Heads guru David Byrne (pictured; Mann, 6/5); the return of Phish (Susquehanna, 6/7); the lovely lasses of Celtic Woman (Mann, 6/20-21); the apparently still-touring Def Leppard (Susquehanna, 6/23); and WAR, the Tower of Power and the Mingus Big Band at the (free!) West Oak Lane Jazz & Arts Festival (7100-7400 Ogontz Avenue, 6/19-21).
