With National Handwriting Day celebrated this month, we asked an expert to analyze some local luminaries’ scripts

John Hancock may be the only American whose legacy is directly tied to his signature, but experts claim anyone’s handwriting can offer a look into who he or she really is. So with National Handwriting Day on January 23rd, we asked Michelle Dresbold, author of Sex, Lies and Handwriting, to evaluate eight signatures from our city elite. After she read between the lines (and the loops), the handwriting was on the wall.
