WEDNESDAY, FEBRUARY 10
Back to spin class today – was feeling great and have been doing awesome on my diet. Not much else to say other than I feel awesome physically and mentally!
THURSDAY, FEBRUARY 11
I’m doing well with my diet and feel like I really understand how to eat well and healthy. In the gym I did core exercises and treadmill intervals with band work in-between. It was very similar to last Thursday’s workout but I feel more confident with it this time around.
FRIDAY, FEBRUARY 12
I woke up at the crack of dawn to do my treadmill workout this morning. It’s my regular Friday workout but it gets harder each week. I usually have to add something new to it, which is difficult to get used to, but it keeps me going and I tend to get bored if I do the same exact thing over and over again. I’m still going strong on my diet.
SATURDAY, FEBRUARY 13
Still eating really well. I enjoy the five meals a day – I never feel like I’m really hungry and anytime I start to feel a little hungry it’s time to eat again. This whole routine and schedule is working really well for me. I’m noticing a big difference in how my clothes are fitting and am starting to trim out. Today I did a workout that Meg had set up for me and it was of course difficult. I did a lot of core exercises and some weight training.
SUNDAY, FEBRUARY 14
Today is my rest day – I made sure to get a good stretch in and ate a healthy Valentine’s Day meal!
Monday, February 15th – 21st
MONDAY, FEBRUARY 15
I was unfortunately laid off from my job today so I’m a little nervous as to how this will affect my diet since I’m on such a specific schedule with it. I’ve been eating 5 times a day at the same times each day and I’ve been doing great with it. We’ll see what happens. I went to my spin class today and took out my aggression about getting laid off on the bike. Working out has been a great stress reliever for me since I started this competition.
TUESDAY, FEBRUARY 16
I woke up much later than I usually would today so I already ruined my diet schedule but what I did eat was healthy. I had my workout with Meg today and she of course pushed me to my limit. I felt great afterward though. I’m very lucky to still have this competition to occupy me in my free time other than looking for a new job.
