The 411: Baby Got Back

By Bridget Salmons

Photography by Tara McCafferty

The Children’s Boutique has been outfitting Center City tots in the trendiest labels for more than 40 years; now co-owner Peter Berman is further spoiling well-dressed tykes by launching his own line of comfortable, durable and chic kiddie couture. His mix-and-match separates, for newbies to nine months, include well-priced year-round baby basics like onesies and sweaters, all age-appropriate but not too cutesy. Wave buh-bye to mellow yellow — the line’s signature polka dots and stripes, in vibrant reds and bright blues, are a welcome alternative to ho-hum neutrals.

The Children's Boutique is located at 1702 Walnut Street, 215-732-2661, thechildrensboutique.com
