11. Blackfish

From the saline simplicity of raw oysters speckled with Meyer lemon to jazzed-up crudos like striped bass with yuzu syrup and radishes, Chip Roman’s range of creativity with seafood is as sweeping as the decor is spare at the BYO that continues to make Conshy a dining destination.

Favorite Dish That Will Never Die: Smoked salmon wrapped around a panko-crusted deep-fried egg.

Value Play: Tuesdays feature four courses—plus the odd amuse-bouche—for $45. If Only: There were a spot to wait for your table without looming (and salivating) over someone else’s.

“I just felt like I let them down. And it’ll never happen again, regardless of what the game dictates. But that last drive, it was just put it all together. I wasn’t going to disappoint my coaches. I wasn’t going to disappoint my teammates. Even though we had to go 90 yards for the score, whatever it took, I was going to get it done.”

This is a leader’s comment. Even the best QB’s will have bad games (Stafford, Brees yesterday for example) but what Vick did in that last drive and what he said in the quote above would lead me to believe he will have a monster game next week.

Vick – It is looking more and more you also need to get out of philly as well. Yes you came from behind, but you made that bed…..I just don’t see any improvement from 2010 vick to 2012 Vick. Also, if Kelce is so smart and handling the calls, is he terrible or was it the scheme?

  • saunhi

Reid saying his QB needs to work thru missing the pre- season, makes sense. The penalties and fumbles showed the whole O needs work.

I appreciate that Vick actually takes responsibility. Unlike past QBs…

Vick: ‘I Gotta Get Out Of Cleveland’
No Mike. You need to get out of Philly. You are uncoachable. Sad but true.

“The thing I have to do is continue to get better,” Vick said. “I know I
can keep the turnovers down. I just have to play within the system, and
that’s what my coaches tell me all the time, not try to do too much.
    Sometimes I do that.”

So he doesn’t listen to the coaches about that. Or sliding.
In truth, the guys just doesn’t listen.
As a coach, THIS is your starter?

If a #1 QB pick in the draft said this, he’d be washing windshields on Phoenix off ramps about now. Well, with any other coach I guess. Not this one.

    • Just stop

Stop spamming up this article with your worthless knee jerk comments. You, and every other mouth breather popping off after this game, are an embarressment to Eaglesnation. This was an ugly loss for sure, but they will rebound ( as well Vick.)

      • What Would Saracen Do?

While I don’t disagree with the sentiment in your comment, it could be worded more diplomatically. Also, the Eagles won today.

      • EaglefaninAZ

My comment was in no way “knee jerk”. In following this team since 1968, this is one of the few public comments I’ve made.
My thoughts posted pointed out my opinion on Vick’s lack of taking to proper coaching. I’m in no way the first person to suggest that very idea.
I’d love it if he had thrown 5 touchdowns, 500 yards, and no INT’s, but that didn’t happen.
Yes, I’ll take the win, but when I see my starting quarterback at that age, after that many starts, making mistakes that are normally attributed to rookie QB’s, I’m going to point it out.
Sorry I harshed your gig with my comment, and I appreciate you letting me know. Now please appreciate the fact that I’m entitled to my opinion as well.
