    I definitely bleed green, but would absolutely give up a super bowl to protect a solid kid like Patterson’s future. (Future functional life, not football future.)

    Patt did fine missing a lot of TC last season. I think the extra caution is reasonable. But let’s not get carried away, it sounds like he’s pretty close to ready.

    I wouldn’t be disappointed to see this kid sit out the entire season to get his health in order. Looking at the talent assembled, we could afford to shelve Patterson. As it stands now he’s on ice well into Nov.
