Tis the season for two-fisted burger chowing. Even though no all-beef patty could compete with the one you grill yourself, A.C. does a downright delicious job fancying up our favorite backyard fare. Our picks for best burgers:
•Wagyu slider trio with caramelized shallots at Gallagher’s Burger Bar, $16.
•Beer-battered, dee-fried burger with curry sauce and hand-cut fries at Trinity, $10.
•Six-pack of Kobe sliders with Swiss cheese, Russian dressing and caramelized onions at Continental, $28.
•Burger topped with Cashel blue cheese, smoked tomato and frizzled onions on sourdough at Sonsie, $11.
•Twenty-ounce Kobe beef patty with sautéed mushrooms and homemade tater tots at Old Homestead, $41.
