Feelin' Groovy

By Jill Yaworski

For all of you nostalgic flower children turned adults out there who miss the decade that brought us bell-bottoms, flower power and great music, you're in luck (well, with the music part at least). Hippiefest brings back the jams of the psychedelic '60s with a concert for peace and love. The tour — which travels across 21 cities this summer — consists of The Turtles featuring Flo & Eddy, The Zombies, Felix Cavaliere's Rascals, Mitch Ryder, Badfinger, Mountain, and Country Joe McDonald, which may just provoke a revolution and/or some flowers to appear in your hair. So while your summer may not have been as wild and free as the Haight-Ashbury Summer of Love, end it with some good — er — groovy music.

August 9th, 8 p.m., $44 to $64, The Mann Center for Performing Arts, 123 S. Broad St., manncenter.org
