Drop that iPod and head for the Kimmel Center this Saturday, where the Boston Pops will perform Oscar- and Tony-winning tunes for both the musical fanatics and those who hide their Chicago soundtrack under the car seat. Broadway stars Marin Mazzie and Jason Danieley are taking a break from Monty Python’s Spamalot and Curtains to belt out Andrew Lloyd Webber and accompany Pops conductor, Keith Lockhart, in a celebration of popular movies and musicals. From Ben-Hur to West Side Story (pictured), get your fill of blockbuster and musical favorites.

Boston Pops: A Salute to Oscar and Tony, August 21st, 8 p.m, $40 to $75; kimmelcenter.org
