The White Dog Café transforms its stretch of Sansom into a coconut-infused tropical fest this Friday for the 20th annual Rum and Reggae Caribbean Street Party. Cuban ginger roasted pork is among the many buffet items served under tent-top, while New York band Tribal Legacy provides sweet rhythms perfect for swaying in (and with!) exotic spirits. The event benefits the Drug Policy Alliance, which strives to find alternatives to marijuana prohibition. Jimmy Buffet attire welcome: Hawaiian shirt and sarong encouraged! Dinner begins at 8 p.m. and costs $38 per person. Dancing only is $5 after 10 p.m. 3430 Sansom Street. Call 215-386-9224 for reservations. — Jennifer Schwartz
