New and Notable: Kennett

They’ll go on and on about the history (it was Kennett Cafe from 1924 to 1986) and their claim to being the first totally green restaurant and bar in the city (recycled pillows, line-caught fish, yada yada yada), but you’ll soon forget all that once you dive into the excellent pre-Prohibition cocktails (hope you like bourbon) and the menu with lots of healthful, veg-friendly options (get the kale salad and walnut risotto), as well as more indulgent choices (the not-to-be-missed bone marrow burger with anchovy mayo).
