Clark Gilbert, ex of Bisou and Gemelli On Main, is the new chef over at Isabella in Consohocken, and has just released his first lunch and dinner menus.

Lunch highlights include a roast pork sandwich with sautéed broccoli rabe and provolone, house salted cod arancini (pictured above and looking delicious), and black fettucini with shrimp, crab, calamari and a puttanesca sauce. The dinner menu features octopus with fingerling potatoes, roasted peppers, chorizo and Nicoise olives, duck rilette, Buffalo chicken, a Kobe burger, a Piccante pizza with capicola, chilli sauce, mozzarella, roasted pepper and caramelized onions, and steak frites with a green peppercorn sauce. Comprehensive, to be sure.

Isabella also has a happy hour Monday-Friday from 5-7 pm, featuring a special bar menu, half off draft beers, $5 martinis and $6 wines. (Yeah, I was focusing on those $5 martinis, too.) If you want to browse through both new menus in their entirety, check out the link below.
