Organizers of the Blue Cross Broad Street Run have released registration details for the 2014 race. This year, entry to the race will cost $43, a $3 increase over last year’s fee.

Interested runners may enter the Broad Street Run lottery beginning this Saturday, February 1st, at 12:01 a.m. Although you’ll need to submit your credit card information to enter, it will only be charged if you’re selected for the race. The lottery closes at 11:59 p.m. on Thursday, February 13th, and results will be posted on broadstreetrun.com on Tuesday, February 18th. Runners who signed up to run for a charity do not need to enter the lottery.

Race organizers are encouraging runners not to try to sign up all at once the minute the lottery opens. “You have an equal chance of being selected whether you register on the first or last day,” reads a message on the race site.

If you have other questions of about the lottery, they’re probably answered here.
