Corbett Approval Rating Lowest Ever

Would lose to a bag of coal.

Just before Christmas, here’s a little gift for Tom Corbett’s opponents: A new poll in which all but one of them would beat him. (Sorry John Hanger–too soon on the pot-legalization stuff.)

Pennsylvania voters give Gov. Tom Corbett a negative 36 – 53 percent approval rating, his worst net score ever, and say 56 – 36 percent that he does not deserve reelection, according to a Quinnipiac University poll released today.

That said, his opponents aren’t actually doing that much better than he is. Former auditor Jack Wagner (really?) has a 48%-36% lead over him, but frontrunner Allyson Schwartz only leads 45%-37%. Full poll here.
