Chris Christie Skips Leadership Speech in Philadelphia

Oh, the irony.

Chris Christie, you have spurned Philadelphia for the (first and) last time!

New Jersey Governor Chris Christie cancelled his scheduled appearance at the Committee of Seventy’s Annual Breakfast tomorrow morning. The governor’s staff said he  is “just not feeling well at all.”  More than 600 people were expected to attend the event at the Hyatt at the Bellevue. It will be rescheduled for a date still to be determined.

He would have been giving a speech on leadership. Please feel better soon Guv, so we can gauge the level of enthusiasm for you in a deeply Democratic city ahead of the 2016 presidential election.
